The Wrong Environment
Did you ever hear about the phrase
“You become the 5 people you surround yourself with”?
I had to learn the hard way that this is a cold truth I would rather not accept.
I thought I can hang around the same people who had no ambitions, were addicted to drugs, blamed everyone but themselves and still make a ton of money.
Fuck me, was I wrong...
They all used to smoke weed, drink and do some other drugs as well.
Guess what I did?
Common, I'm pretty sure you know it.
Correct.
EXACTLY THE SAME!
Every day was like the day before.
But what has this to do with you and your career?
Good question.
You see, we are all made of energy.
Me. You. The dog that licks your balls at night.
EVERYTHING is made of energy.
Energy is constantly moving from A to B.
You can't stop it.
And your brain, “the antenna” is the receiver.
So, for example, I got used to the energy that comes with chilling and being high.
That's why I hung around people who felt the same for 8 years.
Coincidence?
No. I attracted “the energy” (people) I had myself.
If I had been anti drugs, my “energy” would've rejected those people immediately because our frames wouldn't fit each other.
Think of the scenario where the one-person nobody likes comes into the room and everyone changes, including you, who feels different instantly.
That's exactly what I mean.
If you feel comfortable hanging around people who drink, use drugs and have no ambitions, it's because you are the same.
Does this mean that you could change who you are just by changing your circle?
If you want to make it on X or in any business, you have to start surrounding yourself with people who feel and act like the person you intend to be.
How do you do that?
By changing your frame first.
You have to change how you think, act, react, feel and who you surround yourself with so that you can attract those people.
Easier said than done, but it's worth it.
Otherwise, you will live the same life over and over again.
Remember:
You can live more lives if you decide to “kill” an old part of yourself.
Try it.
Hope you learned something new.
Im out.
