The Big Misunderstanding about Success
There is 1 BIG MISUNDERSTANDING when it comes to any success really.
And it's that you always have to "work hard."
Now, this might be true to some degree, but the reality is that quality work and focused hours are what really move the needle.
Let me give you an example:
I love going to the gym (sometimes I hate it), and when I go there's always a bunch of people working out. Obviously.
But I realized that there are different types of people.
Type Nr.1 goes to the gym and finishes all his exercises, warm-ups, etc. in 1 hour.
Type Nr.2 finishes his gym session in 2 hours.
Now, does that mean the 2nd type has “put in more work” automatically?
Not necessarily, because what the 2nd type does is talking to other people, looking at his phone, etc.
Here's the problem tho:
If you asked both of these types how many hours they worked out today, type 1 would say 1 hour and type 2 would say 2 hours, which would immediately make you think that person 2 worked out way more.
The reality, though, is that type 1 was more efficient, finished what was needed 1 hour faster, and has now 1 more hour left for other stuff because of that.
You see where I'm going here, right?
Don't get discouraged just because some people mention 16-hour workdays every day, when in reality they REALLY worked half of that.
I'm not saying that hard work isn't a reality; it certainly is, but by cutting out all the bullshit and focusing only on what needs to be done or improvement, you will move way faster.
