Making More $

Everybody is making things so hard on X when its actually not that hard to close your first client or increase your sales. 

The simplest way to do that (assuming you got a solid offer) is through Warm and Cold DMs. 

Let me show you how to write to each one.

Warm DMs: You write a certain text that is personalized for that specific person you wanna talk to

They could sound something like this: 

What's up XYZ, 

Came across your last post where you discussed the importance of reading books and loved what you had to say. 

I actually started to read for myself and was curious if you have any beginner tips for me? 

Pros of Warm DMs: 

• More personal 

• Response rate is way higher 

• People don't feel like they are being sold something

Cons of Warm DMs: 

• They take more time to create 

• You can't reach more people in a short time

The 2nd type is

Cold DMs: You write a certain text that is not personalized but comes straight to the point. 

Usually, it sounds something like this: 

Hey mate, 

I'm a copywriter and get more sales through emails for people who have a newsletter. Would you be interested in that? 

Pros of Cold Dms: 

• You can send a lot of them in a short time

• Don't take a lot of time to create

Cons of Cold DMs: 

• No personalization 

• They can be pinned as spam 

• Don't get answered that often 

• Most people can tell its copy past

I'm doing a mix of both depending on whom I'm writing to. 

I once reached out to Dakota Robertson to connect with him, and guess which type I used for that? 

Correct. Warm DMs. And he responded.

Now, when it comes to networking, I would suggest using warm DMs. 

Although you could create a cold DM that doesn't sound like you want to sell something, it would still lack the most important part, which is personalization. 

Still, use both because it's a volume game in the end and if you write 100 cold DMs and 10% answer you that's 10 potential clients.
