I'm not a fan of 9-5s and never will be.

You might say now, “but Philipp, the world wouldn't function without 9-5s”

And you are probably right.

But it will function without me.

That's why I'm working towards freedom of time.

Oh, and also so I can do this..

One more reason is the risk you actually have by working only a 9-5.

My coworker who recently got fired knows exactly what I'm talking about.

You will too.

It was 9 o clock in the evening.

He was finishing his last tasks before he could finally go home.

Little did he know that this evening wouldn't end like the ones before..

For some context;

We work in a healthcare business which has around 150 employees and 135 patients.

Lots of money. Lots of work.

AND MANY DRINKS.

Why am I mentioning drinks, you ask?

Good question.

Because my co-worker decided that night to take 2 lemonades home with him.

He drove down with the elevator to his cabin, so he can change clothes.

Guess who awaited him after the doors opened?

The main chef of the business..

Not what he expected because normally the chef isn't around anymore at this time

But this time he was..

The chef saw what he was holding in his hands.. 2 FUCKING LEMONADES

Which was enough to FIRE MY COWORKER from his job.

Boom.

No money anymore. No security.

And numerous questions + worries

• How am I going to pay my rent?

• What if I can't find a new job this month?

Are just some of the questions that popped up in his mind.

He was hopeless.

The world crushed for him at that moment, and it felt like someone removed the ground under his feet.

He was a loyal worker for over 5 years.

As a thank-you, they fired him for 2 Fucking lemonades he wanted to take home that day.

I hope this story teaches you a lesson. OR MORE.

Because you will be replaced in 2 weeks if you fall dead tomorrow.

No matter how hard you work for someone elses dream.

Take care of yourself. Take care of your dreams.

And oh, don't rely on only 1 source of income because 2 lemonades could take it away from you..
